The EV-W boys’ basketball team won their game against St. John’s Prep 56-37 Tuesday, Dec. 11. Senior Brent Stenger #3 led the Eagles in scoring with 21 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Fellow Eagle, sophomore Jared Streit #33 had 13 points, 1 assist, 3 blocks, and 3 steals against St. John’s Prep. Sophomore Bret Mattice #5 also had 13 points, and 2 assists. The Eagles had 16 offensive rebounds, 29 defensive rebounds, 7 assists, 3 blocks, and 7 steals. The Eagles will play next at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Morris.
