EV-W baseball team splits twin bill v Rockford

Though it seems like it just stopped snowing, the baseball season has suddenly come to an end. The Eden Valley-Watkins baseball team closed the door on the swiftly moving regular season by splitting a double-header with Rockford Monday, May 20, losing 8-4 and winning 3-1. Despite two home runs by Alex Geislinger and one by Hayden Willner, the Eagles could not sustain any kind of rally, and the three round-trippers were their only hits in game one. The EV-W bats came alive in game two, as the Eagles scattered nine hits en route to their 3-1 victory.
