EV-W volleyball has perfect week; best Upsala, Rockford

Upsala

Looking for back-to-back home victories, the Eden Valley-Watkins volleyball team shined in their 3-1 win over Upsala, Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Johnson-Peterson Gymnasium. The final tally was 21-25, 25-18, 25-18, and 25-12, sealing the first 2-0 early season record since 2010. We were more relaxed and worked together on every single point.” Raevon Willner was swatting Mikasas like open season on house flies, pounding down nine kills on a 14-18 hitting performance. Senior Brittany Hesse had a couple of aces and eight kills of her own in the win.
