Roar! Kimball Homecoming 2013

Kimball Area High School will celebrate Homecoming festivities beginning Sunday, Sept. 29, with activities running through Friday, Oct. 4. The senior class and student government work together to coordinate events, and make the week one of celebration for the students of Kimball Area High School. The senior class advisor is Amy Notch; Kris O’Brien advises student government.

The seniors chose a song by Katy Perry for their theme. The song’s title is “Roar.” The class colors for Homecoming are lime green and aqua blue. Student government has chosen theme days for dressing up. A Cub fan of the day will be picked from the junior high as well as the senior high. Winners will receive a gift certificate to à la Carte. The student government will also be selling Homecoming and Cub buttons during lunch periods and at the home volleyball games on Oct. 1 and 3. The cost is $1 for the Homecoming button and $.50 for the Cub button. Supply is limited, so hurry and get your buttons. All proceeds will be donated to Kids Against Hunger.

Seniors also elected the Homecoming candidates. The queen candidates include Erin Diffley, Hollie Donnay, Stacy Hurrle, Marisa Johnson, McKenzie Libbesmeier, and Shelby Schiefelbein. The king candidates are Caleb Anderson, Mathias Hennen, Mitchell Klein, Adam Laabs, and Ben Serbus.
