It was a valiant and tough effort portrayed by the Eden Valley-Watkins volleyball team Thursday, Sept. 26, as they invited the Lady Pioneers to town. Aiming to spoil Eagles’ Homecoming festivities, Pierz proved to be a formidable opponent, taking the match 3-1 (23-25, 25-16, 25-15, and 25-18). The hiccup pushes the Eagles to an even 2-2 mark in the conference, and a respective 8-7 record overall.
