EV-W wins Rooster Bowl, again

Eden Valley-Watkins defeated friendly foe Kimball last Friday night, October 11, comfortably in its own nest, 20-6.  Putting up 20 in the first three quarters, the Eagles surrendered just 6 points to the Cubs, in the final stanza.  The Eagles were flying all over the place, as Deshaun James ran for 78 yards, quarterback Nick Pauly tossed for 124 yards, and Austin Schlangen recovered a blocked punt in the bad guys’ end zone.  The Eagles’ record now stands at 2-5.  Closing out the regular season on Wednesday, October 16, EV-W hosts a tough (5-1) Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa bunch, in a Central Minnesota battle.
