EV-W boys’ basketball team stays sharp

Following a weather-postponed Tuesday night game with Holdingford, the Eden Valley-Watkins basketball boys last saw action thursday, Jan. 23, when they bumped off Rockford in a conference battle. On Friday, Jan. 31, the Eagles traveled to Pierz and emerged victorious, edging the Pioneers, 61-57. The Eagles secured a 24-19 advantage at the half and were able to maintain the momentum and finish on a winning note. Eden Valley-Watkins now stands at 5-4 in the Central Minnesota Conference, with an 11-6 overall mark.
