EV-W-K cross country squad looks good

At Sauk Rapids Invitational

The Eden Valley-Watkins/Kimball cross country teams showed up at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Invitational Thursday, Sept. 5, and had a pretty good showing. The Junior High team took a very respectable second place, behind the winning Sartell-St. Stephen bunch.

Coach Holly Hansen summed up the day. “It was a lot hotter and heavier air this year compared to last year’s meet and the times were relatively the same. We are off to a great start and working together as a team very well.”  The Eagles’ next competition is Monday, Sept. 9, 4:15 p.m., at Annandale (Whispering Pines).
