Kimball VB tough week on the courts

The week would start out no better than it ended for the Kimball Cubs volleyball team. Hosting the Norwood-Young America Lady Raiders on Tuesday, Sept. 17, the Cubs emerged with a tough loss, 25-27 9-25 14-25. “As a team we’re still seeking our identity, we’re experiencing the trials of a new coach and new players to the varsity speed and strategy,” Cubs Coach Scott Heinen said. Heinen realizes the importance of growing and maturing together. “We are lucky to have a fundamental group from the coaches before us and are beginning to understand as a group the evolution of team. We have a great group of young women striving to get better. Again, congratulations to the C-Squad and JV teams for continuing to play strong, competitive volleyball.”
