Kimball vs. Jordan
The Kimball Cubs opened their 2013 football season traveling to Jordan. Jordan was coming off a season in which they played in the class 3A state tournament. Kimball was coming off of a 5-5 season last year, making it into the second round of playoffs. The game was played in intense heat as the temps were in the low 90s at kickoff. The Cubs offense stumbled out of the gates by turning the ball over twice in their first four plays. The defense held tough against the Jordan offense, but gave up two touchdowns in the first quarter.
